The term "antipod" refers to diamtrically opposites and is usually used in the plural; it is the exact opposite or contrary.

As a group, we want to create a list of potential, researchable topics for future research and development of a formal argumentative paper. Ideally we would avoid overused topics for which the sides are so ingrained and overly discussed new points of view, logic, and evidence are nearly impossible to develop or find. Topics should include areas beyond currrent political issues or those popular with obvious news outlets.
